There is no fun in life, all the joy has leaked out because he is not happy and there seems nothing I can do, tears waver, threaten at odd moments, I have no creativity, I have nothing because he is fed up with his life

That’s sad for both concerned. It is during those times that one needs to support the other, raising his spirits in whatever creative way it takes.
