Wednesday Words – Elizabeth Baxter

I would like to welcome Elizabeth Baxter to her Bite Sized Blog Tour…
I’m Elizabeth Baxter, a British Fantasy writer, who lives in beautiful Derbyshire with my partner and dog.
I write because it is like breathing to me; I need it to live.
I write about fantastical worlds, people and places.
“Circle Spinner And Other Tales” is a collection of five short stories; an old woman with a terrible duty, a boy and his dog who discover a secret, a city worker who has a really bad day, a young girl with a secret power and a cyborg who isn’t all he seems.
The main character is Edith, a circle spinner with great power, who has been sent to save a city from vengeful gods.
There is something for everyone in the collection and the stories are about real people overcoming difficult situations.
I am currently reading “Toll The Hounds” by Steven Erikson.
If you would like to find out more about Elizabeth and her writing, before next week, please visit Small Blonde Hippy Come back next Wednesday for an excerpt from “Circle Spinner”.
