Wednesday Words – Chapter 11

“We would ask you to stay with us,” grinned Osric. “But winter is our song and story contest in our large cave further up the mountain. It would be tedious for a human because we recite everything in dragonspeak and also, our tales and ballads sometimes take us back to the days before we became Good! It might be a bit dangerous for a novice dragon slayer!”
I winced inwardly and smiled sweetly back at him. “I was heading back towards the Ale House anyway,” I told them. “Perhaps I can come and see you in the Spring and you can tell me how to fight the Bad Dragons?”
“With pleasure Dracomagan!” snorted Osric.
Fortinbras still looked a bit dubious. Ophelia, however, made me promise to look her up first when I came back …
