Butterfly Cinquain 1

beating
at dusty glass
a dark winged butterfly;
releasing the wooden shed door
I stand
a long pause – and then, out she flies!
dizzied by bright sunshine
she starts to feed;

    I’ve been lucky to see a few butterflies this summer.

    I’ve got a few caterpillars on my herbs – Swallowtails. πŸ™‚
