Green Fire

Green Fire

This Freyan Verse is one of my early ones. I wanted to capture the sudden surge from spring into summer in the English countryside; the greenness, the lushness. Click on the link to find out how to read this poem both vertically and horizontally. You can write your own, if you wish!

This style is really really creative…

  2. it’s gorgeous, the total look of the poem and words.

  3. Beautiful. I love how you wrote so many poems in one. It’s like six individual poems, plus three column poems, plus two segment poems, plus the whole thing as a whole. There’s a spot of genius to it. It makes me think I’m sitting under a tree in a grassy field.

    • thank you for reading, Mica! very pleased you are enjoying my freyan verse – they take a while to write but I love the way each verse can be read individually, or, as you’ve found, with other verses…

Ooooh, words, shapes and colors. Cool!

  5. It is brilliant reading right across like reading across the columns of a newspaper. X

  6. Never really sure which bit to read first but it seems to work wherever you begin.
