Escape Pod Emulation – Kae Cheatham

Welcome to my Escape Pod Interview series. If you’re not familiar with this kind of post, please read the back story at Escape Pod Emulation!

So, let’s open the Escape Pod door and find who’s managed to escape today… Why, hello there! It’s Kae Cheatham! Could you turn the music down please, I can’t hear what you’re saying … What 5 items did you take with you?
Attack! Evacuation! I’m limited on what I can take. It’s easy! First, I would grab the large photo cube of my children—reviewing their progression from tiny tots to happily married adults always makes me smile.

I would take my personal computer that has not only text programs, but software for several art programs and the files of my finished products—written, photographic and digital design; I couldn’t leave those behind.
The little stuffed lion would have to come along so I could stroke its plush back and ruffle its fuzzy mane for stress relief.
The e-pod computer provides news, films, and documentary archives…BUT NO MUSIC; I must have music—from string ensembles to bluegrass, to Latin jazz…I must have music; so I’d definitely take my private, portable music collection.
Nutrition bars sound just awful, but I’d take a container with my salsas and many hot sauces; I can tolerate any food with those condiments. Let’s go!

Kae Cheatham is an Author, Speaker, Photographer and Book Doctor!

Kae is the author of a number of books including “Daughter of The Stone”. It’s a different world in foreign space, and Dwinn Somuron is determined to escape her feudal, chauvinistic society and prove that her family legend about “the stone” is true …

  1. Kae, once you get used to it it is really pretty nice in there, with the right five itms of course. I do wonder though, if you could only take one hot sauce, which would you take?
