Follow your author friend on social media. Remember to re-tweet and share her posts to your followers. Help her spread the word about her books. You never know, you might end up getting a book dedicated to you!

DON’T

Expect her to tell you all about her next novel if you don’t regularly buy and review her published books.

Tell her that her books aren’t your kind of thing without reading one first.
