Over the summer I won’t be blogging quite as much; every 2 weeks or so. I’m exploring the different Gardens I’ve known over the years in short prose, as well as posting some of my poster paint experiments on paper!

The Day of Weird contains the first 3 volumes of The Kaerling; Silver Fire, Ambassador and An Ancient Song.

If, like me, you prefer the feel of a real book in your hands and the smell of newly printed paper – this one will be available in a couple of weeks time!

Once again, Jonathon B. Hoyt has designed the jacket, using a sketch from Kombmaker’s unique collection.

Like the first three e-books, the paperback has a grey cover and I think Kombmaker’s sketch captures the countryside of Falna through which Otta and Erl travel.

What do you think? Will you be buying it?!

On a different note, don’t forget that Pure Haiku is opening early this year for haiku submissions. There are 3 themes and the submissions windows will open in January, February and March for each theme. Due to time constraints, I’m posting shorter blog posts this year. Over the next few months I’ll be sharing some “small stones” and paintings about Clouds. The paintings may not always match the words!
