How to be a Writer’s Best Friend #3

18 September, 2019

DO

Offer her a guest blog post so your followers can discover her and find out why they need to buy her book. Ask her unusual questions, don’t be run-of-the-mill!

DON’T

Just offer congratulations. Just don’t. It means nothing. Buy her book!

You can find the links to all my books here at Barnes & Noble.

EPod for Shehanne Moore

22 January, 2018

Welcome to the first Escape Pod Interview in 2018. If you’re not familiar with this kind of post, please read the back story at Escape Pod Emulation! So, let’s open the Escape Pod door and find who’s managed to escape this time… Hello, it’s Shehanne Moore! What 5 items have you taken to the Escape Pod?
1 My photograph album so I can look at everyone in my family, especially past and present till I can be with them again.
2 Pen and paper. I’d lose my sanity otherwise. Of course it has to be an everlasting supply. I could be here long enough.
3 A crate of very nice wine. Oh, please don’t tell me I am only allowed a bottle? In that ‘case’ I will have to have a wine making kit and an another everlasting supply.
4 A lovely old gramophone so I can listen to some lovely old records.
5 And what about a claw footed bath? One needs somewhere to drink ones wine and listen to their old records!

Shehanne Moore is a Scottish born author who writes gritty, witty, more risky than risqué, historical romance, set wherever takes her fancy—stories that detail the best and worst of human behaviour, as opposed to pouts and flounces.

Don’t forget to check out Shehanne’s novel, “The Writer and the Rake—Time Mutants”. In 1765 he’d sooner be poor than be by her side. In 2017 she’d sooner be rich!

Elisa’s Gallery

the most recent picture Elisa and I collaborated on is this – I asked for a crisp, cold, frosty, moonlit scene for the last episode of The Oil of Sage …

I wanted a warm, relaxing feel to the first episode of The Oil of Sage and Elisa came up with the goods!

this is the first picture Elisa and I collaborated on – I asked her to produce something that blended summer and winter …

why not commission Elisa to design pictures for your next project? contact her at Harmony Thoughts
alternatively, take part in one of her Online Classes!

Catching Up!

28 October, 2016

Instead of a re-blog this week, I’m catching up with all the posts I’ve been wanting to tell you about but haven’t had time recently! And, as I am planning to be offline from Wednesday, next week for a few days, I thought I’d write this post now!
I mentioned M Sakran a few weeks ago as he’s recently brought out a very interesting poetry collection. If you click on the link, you’ll be able to read his version of a Freyan Verse!
I collaborated again with Patricia Spork who has recently posted our lantune poem Universal Law. Please take a look at her blog; it’s varied and interesting!
Sharmishtha Basu has very kindly posted about my poetry collection Insides at Wing of Dreams.
And if you missed my interview at Alina Meridon, here’s the link Adventures with Potato Peelers. And the lovely Frank also mentioned me in several earlier posts; Insides Out and Swords, Slayers and other Wanderers.
I want to say a HUGE thank you to every one who’s re-blogged and mentioned me recently! I’ll be back on Monday and Tuesday with a Freyan Verse of my own and another Butterfly Cinquain. Then I’ll be taking a few days offline before my second Escape Pod Interview appears here!
For now, I will say farewell and leave you with a very short video (less than 1 minute!) that I created for Halloween… Compost Ghoul.
